Potential Faculty Information

 

 

Light University is honored to have you consider offering a course on our campus. The following are some items of interest that one should know prior to completing the Application to Facilitate a Class/Workshop.

 

  1. All application must be submitted via the LightU.org website
  2. All application to offer a course must be received and approved at least 9 weeks prior to the state of each semester
  3. If your course is approved, please plan to attend a Faculty meeting one month prior to the start of the semester.
  4. All approved course will need a syllabus and at least one required book for your course. (Click for Syllabus Sample)
  5. A Faculty Intake/Contractual Form must be on file prior to the state of the start of the semester
  6. If you wish to receive payment for your course an IRS Form W9 must be completed and on file prior to the start of the semester.  Payments will be made within 30 days at the end of each semester.
  7. Students will be asked to complete a Course Evaluation Form
  8. All faculty must complete an Instructor’s Grade Sheet and return it to the Registrar
